Shortcuts for Selection


Shortcut 1: CTRL + *
To select the data region if the cursor is inside any of the selected data range
Shortcut 2: CTRL + SPACE
To select the whole column.
Shortcut 3: CTRL + [
This shortcut is to select all the precedent cells used for the formula.
Shortcut 4: CTRL + ]
To select all the dependent cells.
Shortcut 5: CTRL + SHIFT + Arrow Key
To extend the cell selection from the current cell to the last cell with content in a row or column according to the arrow key used.
Shortcut 6: CTRL + SHIFT + O
This Shortcut will select all the cells which have a comment in it.
Shortcut 7: CTRL + ` (left quotation mark – below Esc key)
To show all the formulas written on the cell instead of the actual values derived from the formula
Shortcut 8: SHIFT SPACE
To select the whole entire row.
Shortcut 9: SHIFT + CTRL + SPACE
This shortcut is used to select the table if you have converted the data to Table.
Shortcut 10: SHIFT + Arrow Keys
This shortcut is used to extend the cell selection.
Shortcut 11: SHIFT + Page Down
This shortcut is used to extend the selection down one screen at a time.
Shortcut 12: SHIFT + Page Up
This shortcut is used to extend the selection up one screen at a time.
Shortcut 13: SHIFT + Home
This shortcut will select the range from the current cell to the far left.
Shortcut 14: F5, ALT + S, K, ENTER

To select all the blank cells in the data.
