Basic Shortcuts


Shortcut 1: CTRL + C                                          To copy the contents of cell or cells.   
Shortcut2: CTRL + X                                           This shortcut is used to cut the content of the cell or cells.
Shortcut 3: CTRL + V                                          This shortcut is used to paste the content of cell you have cut or copied. This can be used only after you cut or copy the data.
Shortcut 4: CTRL + Z                                          This shortcut is used to undo the task you have just done.
Shortcut 5: CTRL + Y                                          This shortcut is used to redo the task you have just undone
Shortcut 6: CTRL + S                                          To save the Excel sheet.
Shortcut 7: CTRL + A                                         Select all.
Shortcut 8: CTRL + B or CTRL + 2                   Bold formatting.
Shortcut 9: CTRL + I or CTRL + 3                     Italic formatting.
Shortcut 10: CTRL + U or CTRL + 4                Underline the content of the cell.
Shortcut 11: ARROW KEYS                             To Navigate between the cells.
Shortcut 12: CTRL + o (letter o)                      Open dialogue box
Shortcut 13: CTRL + N                                       Create a new blank workbook.

Shortcut 15: ALT + F4                                        Close the visible Excel workbook.
Shortcut 16: CTRL + P                                        Print
Shortcut 17: Enter                                             Go down to the next cell
Shortcut 18: SHIFT + Enter                              Go to the upper cell
